ABOUT THE JOB AND TEAM
Commercial Managers get a kick out of starting the growth journey for prospective IMPACT customers in digital commerce. They relentlessly groom and pay attention to the customer pipeline and can seed the ground for successful long-lasting customer relations in unified commerce.
The Salesforce team at IMPACT works with some of Scandinavia’s most important brands and catalyze their digital growth by implementing Salesforce digital commerce solutions. As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for ensuring a solid pipeline and meeting sales budgets both with new logos and existing logos. You will work closely with the re-bizz Client Directors and the new-bizz team to ensure we have the right deals lined up and closed in time and on the right conditions for our agile design and development teams.
The team has Scandinavia’s most talented team in Salesforce digital commerce solutions. We work across the Salesforce Customer 360 solutions – Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud and Order Management as the main solutions. We see this suite as a key enabler to propel unified commerce, where the team builds solutions from web to mobile apps and future in-store commerce.
The roles you will work closely with are client directors, business analysts and commerce consultants, project managers, designers, specialized developers, and quality experts and the mission will be to close deals that bring success for the customer and great execution for our team. The role is broad, but the following will be expected of you:
- Drive deals on key customer prospects through our sales process with the aim of winning the deal with a great Salesforce team
- Ensure account plans, roadmaps and performance enhancing initiatives are lined up for all customers in the Salesforce portfolio
- Pipeline build-up and management across new and existing customers and groom and manage an ever up to date portfolio
- Drive closing of deals per budget to ensure high utilization and activity in our agile design and development teams
- Sales budgeting and CRM management, incl. close plans for all Salesforce customers across all Salesforce products (e.g., Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, OMS)
- Work closely with Client Directors, Consultants and Solutions advisors to ensure the right team for closing deals
- Participate with Salesforce Consulting and Client Directors presentation of strategy, concepts, and inspiration for customers based on Salesforce products
- Matching customer needs (and sometimes making them aware of these) with our Salesforce offerings and collaborate with Salesforce on commerce opportunities
- Learn and communicate novel solutions in Salesforce Customer 360 and digital commerce
- Be an evangelist of Unified commerce and drive deals that cut across digital and physical commerce
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong sales performance from various jobs, having climbed from individual sales to directing a portfolio of sales activities with focus on pipeline, deal closing and growth in the digital commerce arena.
- Sales experience from digital commerce is a strong plus
- Technical understanding and/or experience with technical projects, preferably related to e-commerce (PIM, ERP, CMS, various digital marketing tools, etc.)
- Salesforce product experience is a bonus (also other relevant Salesforce related clouds - Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud etc.)
- Self-driven and can-do mindset, as well as big team player with an eagerness to see how your knowledge and teamwork can create results for clients
- A natural team player who achieves own success through the team’s success
